Chapter 11What should I know about arranging my classroom to meet the needs of students who have disabilities:
First there a lot of things like social, physical, and or safety/needs to consider in the classroom. You would want to take a look at the child's needs to see hoe you can accomindate  your classroom to the child's needs.

Second: Do different kinds of teaching methods work better for different kinds of learners?
Students in a classroom may need specialized methods. the most common is collaboration if a General ed or special ed teach have questions about the student t.They should go to the case manger to see what that child needs. It all depends on the child no two children are like so you will need different methods per child.

Third what kind of technology can help me meet the needs of students who have disabilities ?
The new thing teachers can use are apps for the Ipad.  they can help people of all kinds like not able to communicate, and help with speech and many more things.

Welcome to Mr. Ziering Special Ed class. EVerything you need to know about Special Ed

The sad part of this class bullying which is an epidemic in school.
A Boy Mitchell Wilson  who was 11 years old committed over bullying.  Mitchell had muscular dystrophy, he was assault by bullies.  My my reply to the article  tells all how about I feel  about this sad story.

This a horrific part of are school systems in the U.S and Canada. No one is safe this kids how had muscular dystrophy got like on because he could not do some thing that's 11 year old can do. when it will stop?  my beef is that why would they want to pick on a person who has medical wrong with him.  schools need to make people safe for anyone. I hope when I teach I will have a safe place   for kids. Not saying the teachers and school did not have any.  I never heard of this having people with medical needs killing them selves  it just not right in general .   I'm sorry this  had to happen and pray for the parents who have to deal with this horrific situation. by The Huffingtonpost

One of the most amazing advocacy resource for all is the Utah Parent Cent in Salt Lake City.
This help parents and kids with the process of coping and teaching parents what recourse are available   to help the child succeed in school and socially.

The second one is what I think is important is the Child to speak up. In secondary level they don not everything handed to them. They need to speak up to get what they want this will teach them in the future and advocated for them selves. This not from class, students in H.S. have to advocate fro them selves this is my personal one about advocacy

Deaf Blindness /Comparison

The Video shows what happen to Helen Keller when she was young. She got sick from Scarlet Fever.  Also, you can see how parents who have a child have a serious  illness happen to them They did not believe it when she went deaf and blind.
Here is was my class project about Deaf and Blindess the hyper link will how you.

Comparison with Special education, ESL,and gifted and talented.
They all need to have individual teaching methods so they can learn in there own special way. Also, they need time to learn these kids need there own special pace so they wont fall behind.

BLOG 2 Re due

I want to become a teacher. I think it would help Students at a early age To Critical Think about their actions.  Critical Thinking will help students in all grades. In the Middle and High school are harder then the elementary schools. The classes are demanding and require thinking skills. Math being abstract and hard in general finding problems and word problems in any level will need a good critical thinking mind.

Why I think Critical Thinking is good in primary schools. Is that it will help them in the long run in the upper grades in school and College. How I would start off on students developing critical thinking skill is to make it simple for them. To teach in the primary schools teacher will need to make it fun and inviting for students. Also this  does not just help the brain it helps students writing skills to develop good thought of statements in essay. Critical Think will help in daily life if you get a job in business or marketing you will need to think on you feet. Also show These skills in showing off the new product.

Couple of reason of not having critical thinking in school in a early age. Students are not having the basic understanding of subjects and will not think outside the box.  This could lead students left behind in school on state tests. These states are critical thinking they are not one easy answer like the HSPA, NJ pass and  ESPA in the Elementary schools. These tests can determined whether you go on up to the next grade in school.  It is very important to have critical thinking in the lower level of school. No parent wants their children to get left behind

I agree that  primary schools should have critical thinking. The reason  is they will be able to Think in a academic level in their grade. They will be less likely to get left behind in school. Students will have a positive attitude.  Having these skill will help them in many ways in school, jobs and life.

Montag Says....

What Montag consider to be "important or Real". The important part is quality  how they can develop their ideas  in books.  The quality of the books will expand your mind and make you think.  The real is freedom you can become independent from people and think what you want to think. Freedom is very important to not be ruled by someone. In the book there freedom was not their they were under control by the government.

The last time I was bothered was when I went to Russia.  Doing  my Russian number duties. As a Number one in tennis it is very important to your duties for you country. My duties are playing in tournaments in Russia like the Kremlin cup. Also the president of Russia Demetri Medvedev come its an honer to play in front of him.  One of my favorite things to do is going to Siberia and helping children in orphanages.  It might seem easy and a perfect life sometimes it does get in the way. It is very important to do social thing like  party's and media. Only being 19 years old there is a lot of pressure to become the next Russia World number one and claiming grand slams. What's  important to me is that, I do not want to disappoint my country. Russian pride means everything to me and the People support.

People might not believe there can be a lot of negatives about this job. I now deal with the media in Europe saying I'm not a true Russian due to I live in America. Also that I do not play a lot of tournaments. The list can go on and on. One most notable World and Russian number one is Dinara Safina  Her fall from grace was hard to watch and hear about.  Once you get there its hard to keep it up at that top spot. Lucky me this is my second time reaching number taking over since June. Media and people want players to fall can see how they cope. The a big negative for me is that it has gotten in the way of College. In the media if your a tennis player you stay a tennis player for life. Tennis players do not go to college's. This is changing in time on the women's side then the men's. like Vera Zvronereva Education we all can go to school but its outside the norm.

What is real for me is College and how hard to maintain good grades.  This is my third semester at Yavapai College. The first semester I spent it at Albright College in reading, Pa. The work load is a complete 360 from the west and the eastern schools. The goal is still the same need to keep a 3.0 GPA for the Education major.  The realness of being in College is that there is so much pressure to do well in any major.  If you fail that is it your done  with college. Having had both worlds going to school in the east and west its still the main attitude to get to a four year school.  Another realness is that if you keep a positive attitude you can do well. I have extra motivation for college I want to prove tennis players can go to school and play tennis.

What I think about what is important and what is real. They both mean the something what is real is what is important to make you love what you like to do.  There not two sprite things they both complete each other. All in all both important and real are one thing. Important is what you really like doing and it comes first in your life. The real in your life make you feel good which is important.   You can never feel bothered for what you like to do.  If you like what you are doing there is no bothering to do it. Meaning your glad to do it with out any questions.

Should reasoning skills be taught in primary schools?

wanting to become a Teacher I think it would help the kids really think about there actions. Critical  thinking will help you in the older grades. In the middle and high schools are harder and they require more thinking skills. Like Reading, English and Math these classes can be abstract and make you think more.

Why I think Critical thinking is good in the primary schools. This will help them in the older grade and college as they start young. How I would start off on critical thinking the material should be simple so they can understand. The way to be effective is putting the students in Groups also having the teacher " have a small lecture of class for 15-20 mins." This will help them bounce ideas off each other to think hard. Also having the students listen to each other this age would be great .  Critical thinking can help in life because that in jobs you must make up plains and think on your feet. They are going to more reading with critical thinking skill in the younger grades then being in the older grades. relate the topic to what the kids are interesting  and make it fun.

Why people say that critical thinking for young children can be bad. When young children watch T.V. they will  think less and more act on the actions seen on T.V. This can lead to Violence  because they are not thinking what harm these actions can do. One of many major factors not having critical thinking is they can be left behind.  Not having a basic understanding would lead to the students being left behind. In Arizona there are levels of assessments and how they grade Critical Thinking. This rubric is for grades 4th-6th. In the lower grades if they do not know  it will be hard. Without the basic reasoning kids can grow up. Having  act out not  knowing what it right and wrong. They will need to think there ideas over  to see if its right for them.

I agree that primary schools should have some type of reasoning skills. The reason is that they will be able to what is right and wrong. Thinking there ideas over  and having group methods and open there ideas and expand on them. When they get older they will more and more use critical thinking skill in there daily lives.  Having these skills will help them in many ways in school, jobs and daily life.

Blog number 1 question 3 Changing Technology

One of the most impressive technology that has made a impact. The cell phone has made a big impact in away everyone has  one. Even with the cell phone they are coming in more advance ways. The new sleek, apps, tough screen and so much more.   How dose this affect us in are society? What are the Positive and negatives of cell phones?

Society has almost come dependent on Cell phones. "The ability to keep in tough with family and business associates." (www.ezinearticles.comm/?The-Importance-Of-Cell-Phones-In-Modern-Society&id=7446) You can not live without the cell phone is like a sickness because everyone has one. It is great to have one but you can over use it. " has become reliable and of high quality due to advances in wireless." With the first years far behind us from being bulky and expensive and only used in special locations. No they phones have become high class. With new keyboards, tough screen and a new sleek look. No wonder people are eating these up. Because people  want the newest and bigger and better things.  People who are against cell phones are police because  people will text or call during the driving which can case accidents. This lead to a Banning of cell phones while driving. The second reason why they banned it was people can so intense while texting and completely keep there eyes of the road. I do support this law because people can get hurt or die from texting.

The positives of cell phone are you can keep in tough if you live in a different part of the country. The size of the phones they come small and large but never to large. Teens love then they like because its there own personal way to connect with there friends without the parents finding out. Conducting Business "cell phones make it easy to make business arrangements when you are away.says "
http://www.ehow.com/facts_4812563_positive-effects-cell-phones.html .Even more the positive if you are way from you computer You can take the Internet with you. Also, if you like sports  you can look up scores. It is just like you computer just in phone size. Cameras is also a major factor. "The phone can be very helpful for an individual if you can in to a car crash. Then you can use  it for damage control and the insurance company will take it.  It make it easy for people to use it everyday life. From personal experience it is good to keep in tough with friends and emailing if you are not near a computer. Also, love ones being very sick and are in the hospital the people can call or text you have your Friend or family member  is going well.

The negatives of the cell phones can lead to Brain cancer, using it during school. In the most recent years medical doctors could connect cell phone with Brain Cancer because,  being close to the ear they give off radio frequency (RF) this can affect the because of "RF is type of non-Lonizing electromagnetic radiation lonizing radiation, such as what you find in a X ray machine." This cases the body heat and sweating in to the phone also can give you ear infections as well.

Cell phone in school it mostly distracting to the teacher and the students because you are there to learn and if you are not paying attention. students  will miss important matearl and you not do well on testes. However its also hard on the teachers due to they can not keep watch and see if the students are texting. Also,  if the student gets a funny text they will lough out loud then the teacher need to stop and ask what happen. teachers fear that students will text there friends the answer to testes answers  or during the testes. Recording teacher when they are talking to themselves or saying bad things about there day.unless they allowed them to but rarely  they would allowed that in High school.

My opinion about cell phones in Society is that its growing and there is no way of stopping them. You do not need all the Fancy things that just be cool. There  always negative way to look at this that it cases people to so intense about texting this can lead to death on the road. I think if you take this argument with a grain of salt and some what remember maybe next time you will think of the Positives and being lucky to own one and the negative of having a cell phone and what it can do to you!!!
